Peacefully with family, Lisa was called home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Thursday, December 28, 2023. Beloved wife of Arie. Devoted mother of Anne, Josie, Caleb and William. Dear daughter of Ken and Joanne Vanderwoude and Henry and Jackie Smouter. Loving sister of Josh and Kara Vanderwoude, Loretta and Wade Poort, Rosalyn and Richard Poort, Valerie and Josh VanderBrugghen, Arlene and Brad Bartels, Mike and Melissa Smouter, Tamara and Calvin Nobel.
Lisa will be missed by her grandparents, many nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and church community. Friends and relatives are invited to a Visitation on Monday, Jan. 1, 2023 from 1-5 p.m. at CORNERSTONE CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 353 Stonechurch Rd. E., Hamilton, where the Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday, January 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Private family interment will precede the service at Mt. Hamilton Cemetery.
