Peacefully, on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Trillium Health Partners- Mississauga, at the age of 99. Devoted husband of Maria. Loving father of Ruzena Kapitan (Mike), Igor (Milena), Mary Burger (late David), Dusan (Ivana), Michal (Barbara) and the late Stephan (Mary). Devoted grandfather of Michael (Nadia), Debbie (Matt), Mark (Jenny), Veronica, Jason, Zachary, Monica (Sherif), Nancy, Diane (Lucho), Jane (Stuart), Andrew, Suzanne, Daniel, Adam, Nicholas. Great grandfather Landon, Maxim, Carissa, Matteo, Alexa, Chloe, Zoe, Ethan, Paige, Natalie and great-great grandfather to Noah.
Friends may call at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St. (Hwy. 10, N. of QEW) on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. Prayers 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 5255 Thornwood Dr, Mississauga, on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 9:30 a.m.
Interment at Glendale Cemetery.
For those who wish, donations may be made to Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church, St. Mary’s Slovak Catholic Church Building Fund or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
