Norman Anthony Obituary
Clayton Norman Anthony, age 78, of Woodstock and formerly of Stratford passed away peacefully at his residence on December 27, 2023. Born in Codroy, Newfoundland, son of the late George and Phoebe Anthony.
Beloved husband of the late Rosemarie Anthony who predeceased him in 2012. Norman is survived by his brother Brian Anthony, sister Evelyn Topping, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and their families and longtime family friend Susan Lewis (Garth), Abbey and Gabe.
Predeceased by brothers George, Ronald, Thomas, Robert and sister Ella Felix.
Norman volunteered with Big Brothers, Big Sisters and the Children’s Aid Society for many years. He loved bowling, playing cards, board games and spending the summers in Bayfield.
Friends and relatives are invited to the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, January 5, where visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday, January 6, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. A reception will be held at the funeral home following the interment at Avondale Cemetery.
