In cherished memory of Trevor Paul Campbell Brighty (April 4, 1979 – December 24, 2023) a resilient soul who confronted life’s challenges with unwavering strength until the end. Trevor embarked on a journey, triumphing over obstacles that would test even the strongest among us. His path was marked by both joy and pain, facing battles beyond our full comprehension.
Diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at the age of three, Trevor defied expectations, surpassing his life expectancy to reach the age of 44. Trevor served as an ambassador for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, exemplified by his bike ride from Niagara Falls to Sick Kids, raising funds for the cause.
Living on the edge, he left an unwavering mark on the world, pushing boundaries and embracing each moment.
Trevor leaves behind his mother Sandy Brighty, father Paul Brighty, brother Nate Brighty, Grandma Grace Campbell, and supportive aunts, uncles, cousins, and a special friend Joe. Koby, his loyal four-legged companion, will miss his care, cuddles, and high fives.
May his soul find serenity where struggles cease and may his memory kindle resilience in us all. Gratitude extends to the scientific advancements made in Cystic Fibrosis research, and the dedicated doctors and nurses at Sick Kids and St. Michael’s Hospital, who supported Trevor for over 40 years.
