In Loving Memory of Carrie Mae “Carebear” Crego
Passed away suddenly at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the age of 47.
Much loved daughter of Dorothy and the late Joseph Crego of Kinmount. Loving sister of Connie (Rick), the late Bonnie (Fred Mulock), the late Reg (Evelyn), Malcom, Luther (Hannah), Ward (Liz), Claude (Lisa), Phebee (Tom Day), Blair, the late Alex. Lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins and is also remembered by Dawn Percy, Trevor Brauer and by her teammates of the Haliburton Red Wolves.
Carrie was extremely proud to be a member of the Special Olympics and the gold medal she won in Brandon, Manitoba.
A Memorial Visitation to Celebrate Carrie’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #441, 11 County Road 503, Kinmount (upstairs) on a date and time to be announced. Cremation has taken place.
Memorial Donations to the Haliburton Red Wolves (by cheque only) would be appreciated by the family and can be arranged through the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home Ltd., P.O. Box 427, Minden, Ontario K0M 2K0.
