Jacqueline Frances MacPherson,85, of New Waterford, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital, with her family by her side.
Born in Sydney, she was a daughter of late James and Christine (Gushue) McGrady.
Jackie was a dedicated health care worker. She loved her family and spending time with them; as well as baking and sharing her home-made goodies. Her favorite pastime was shopping.
Surviving are her children, Jacki (Steve) Wedgewood, Sandy (Wesley) MacIsaac, Jimmy, Joann MacLean, and Vernon (Bernice); siblings, Loie, Theresa, and Donnie; grandchildren, Brandon, Ashley, Brittany, A.J., Beth, Adam, Brad, Matthew, Amanda,Tyler and many great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Johnny Boy; brothers, Jim and Bobby; daughter-in-law, Laurie MacPherson; son-in-law, Robert (Yacky) MacLean; grandson, Craig MacIsaac; great-grandson, Johnny MacLean
Donations in Jackie’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home, New Waterford.There will be no visitation or service at this time.
