Dieppe, NB – It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa MacNeill, a person who was so caring and had a heart of gold who gave her life looking after special need children. She passed peacefully on December 21, 2023, at the Faubourg du Mascaret, Pavillon Richard in Moncton.
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late William “Al” MacNeill and the late Rita (LeBlanc) MacNeill.
She is survived by her brother, Omer MacNeill of Moncton; her two sisters: Sheila MacNeill of Moncton, and Sandy (Eric) LeBlanc of Dieppe; her sister-in-law, Cathy MacNeill of Dieppe; her nephews: Jason, David, Troy; and her niece, Shelly.
She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Brian; as well as her two nephews: Christopher and Shawn.
Visitation will be held at the Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, E1A 1G1, 506-857-1901) on Friday, December 29th from 2 to 3 pm, Funeral service will follow in the chapel at 3 pm on the same day.
In memory of Theresa, a donation can be made to a local food bank, METS, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
The family wishes to thank the Faubourg du Mascaret, Pavillon Richard for the great care and compassion given to Theresa during her stay.
