Obituary of Marcel Guenette
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marcel Guenette on December 21, 2023, at the St-Catharines General Hospital at the age of 83. Cherished husband to Lise Guenette (née Robitaille). Loving father to Mario (Lorna) and Sylvie (Allain). Beloved brother to Roland and André. Forever in the hearts of his grandchildren Patrick (Katie), Kevin (Deborah), Daniel & Annie and his five great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Donat and Maria Guenette (née Moyart), his siblings Wilfred, Paul & Simone as well as his 1st wife Marie-Ange.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 827 East Main Street Welland, on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, from 1:00p.m. until service time at 3:00p.m. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada and the Alzheimer’s Society of Niagara Region would be greatly appreciated by the family.
