Amy Monica Wilkes (nee Keown) died peacefully on December 14, 2023 at the age of 95. Family was at her side when she passed.
Amy was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford; her brother, Charles; and her sisters, Jane, Ivy and Kathleen.
A graduate of the Wellesley Hospital School of Nursing, Amy served in various nursing positions before starting her family. She had a life-long interest in travel and adventure, loved nature and animals, was always up for a swim in a lake or ocean, and enjoyed painting with watercolors.
Amy is survived by her daughters, Terrina Wlikes and Maureen Anderson; their husbands, Douglas Bonner and David Anderson; and her grandson, Daniel Bryan.
Private cremation was held at Garden Hill Funeral Home in Maple Ridge. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made on Amy’s behalf to Katie’s Place Animal Shelter and MSF Canada.
