George Morimoto Obituary
George passed away peacefully at Jackson House Long Term Care in Ashcroft on November 4, 2023, at 90 years of age. He was born on July 2, 1933, in Fort McMurray, Alberta, to parents Tommy and Mitomi Morimoto. He lived in the Ashcroft area for many years, working at Highland Valley Copper.
George is survived by many longtime friends and his niece, Patricia Yoshimi Morimoto of Vancouver. George was an avid fisherman and enjoyed gardening and tinkering on his computer. In his younger years, he was also an excellent hockey player.
