Norma passed away peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre in her 84th year.
Loving wife to the late Abbot Myott. Cherished mother to the late May Beverly Gettings (Ron William Gettings) the late Deborah Attard, and Ray St. James (foster son). Grandmother to Yvonne Kathlee (Ole Morland) and Patrick Gettings. Great Grandmother to Booker Chase Wilson.
Sister to Elva Murdock, and Percy Harley, Elaine Haloway, Thelma Smeltzer, Shirley Preston, Alex Preston, Ron Boakes, Rita Boakes, Eldon Boakes, Ian Boakes, and the late Marlene Denise Boakes.
Norma will also be missed by her beloved dog Benji, and family and friends including Deborah Lee Lister and Deborah Melbon, Jesse St. James, Courtney St. James, and Ashley St. James.
Norma was a devout Christian. While Norma was a young mother to her daughter May, she was a foster parent to other children and adopted her daughter Deborah. Norma loved to sing and dance and she wrote a book and released a C.D. “Trucking With The Lord.”
