On Wednesday, November 22, 2023, Tom Coulter, aged 86, died at home in Stratford, Ontario.
Despite being ill with cancer, he did not lose his welcoming disposition and his last months were pain free and happy.
Tom was a master craftsman who loved and appreciated fine craftsmanship in others. He was an artist, sculptor, ceramist, teacher, prop-maker, buyer for movie-sets, set decorator, home and loft renovator and gardener.
Most of all he was a good and generous friend. We will miss him.
Thomas was also a man concerned for the environment. As such it was his wish to have an aquamation take place and have friends and family celebrate his life as they see fit. No formal public visitation or funeral service will be forthcoming, but an informal celebration of Tom’s life will be held in May 2024 for all who loved him.
