We regret to announce the death of John Davis, at the age of 70 years, on Saturday,
December 2, 2023, at Sensenbrenner Hospital, Kapuskasing. John was an avid Toronto
Maple Leafs fan who enjoyed watching NASCAR races. He also enjoyed keeping himself
busy and building various things.
John is survived by his loving wife, Betty (nee Putman) of Moonbeam; two daughters:
Naomi Davis (Ken Dixon) of Grimsby and Gwen Davis of Vegreville, AB; four
grandchildren: Meaghan Brown (John), Michelle Davis-Oliveira, Stephanie Davis, Tracy
Lunn; five great-grandchildren: Nathan, Dawson, Charlotte, Peyton, Tristan, Abel,
Emma; his siblings: Fred Davis, Paula Paulitzki, Vera Brown, Vivian Maves, Sharon
Hamm, Ed Davis, Jim Davis, Gary Davis, Doris Hebbourn, and Robert Davis; numerous
nieces and nephews; as well as his loyal companion, Dolce.
John was predeceased by his parents, John and Dorothy; and his brother, Mark.
A celebration of John’s life will be held at a later date. The family would greatly
appreciate donations to the Sensenbrenner Hospital Foundation as expressions of sympathy. ©
Nous regrettons d’annoncer le décès de John Davis, à l’âge de 70 ans, le samedi 2 décembre 2023, à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner, Kapuskasing. John était un ardent partisan des Maple Leafs de Toronto qui aimait regarder des courses de NASCAR. Il aimait également se tenir occupé et construire des choses de toutes sortes.
John laisse dans le deuil son épouse aimante, Betty (née Putman) de Moonbeam; deux filles : Naomi Davis (Ken Dixon) de Grimsby et Gwen Davis de Vegreville, AB; quatre petits-enfants : Meaghan Brown (John), Michelle Davis-Oliveira, Stephanie Davis et Tracy Lunn; cinq arrière-petits-enfants : Nathan, Dawson, Charlotte, Peyton, Tristan, Abel et Emma; ses frères et sœurs : Fred Davis, Paula Paulitzki, Vera Brown, Vivian Maves, Sharon Hamm, Ed Davis, Jim Davis, Gary Davis, Doris Hebbourn et Robert Davis; plusieurs nièces et neveux; de même que son compagnon fidèle, Dolce.
John fut prédécédé par ses parents, John et Dorothy; ainsi que son frère, Mark.
Une célébration de la vie de John aura lieu à une date ultérieure. La famille sera très reconnaissante de dons à la Fondation de l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner comme témoignages de sympathie. ©
