Born October 13, 1944, 79 years old, to the late Pommela Huneault and Louis Mantha. She passed peacefully surrounded by family on December 5th, 2023. Devoted and loving wife of Hermel (Mel Sr.) Defausses for 60 years. Daughter in law of the late Albert and Anna Defausses.
Cherished mother of Joanne and the late Johann Loscher, Mel Defausses, and Albert (Angela) Defausses. She is best known as Jackie to those around her but the most important title to her was Mémé to her grandchildren David, Darren (Linda), and Dustin (Michelle) Girard, Danielle (Jason) Zaborek, Aj (Vicky), Alisha, Kyle (Ashley), Madison (Corey), Brandon Defausses and Hope Holla. Special aunt to Jackie Evans. Great grandmother to many great grandchildren. Jackie is preceded in death by her 7 siblings all now lovingly reunited.
Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North in Es on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of the life celebration at 1:30 p.m. Father Larry Brunett officiating. She was a dear wife, mother, mémé, great grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She will be greatly missed and remembered for her funny jokes, her giving nature and kind and loving heart. An angel above us all of all looking over her family now and forever.
