Obituary
MORGAN-Piva, Edda Ophelia – Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of her husband Bruno Piva, at her home on Tuesday November 28, 2023 at the age of 82 . She will be missed by her brothers Roderick Morgan of the U.K., Danny Morgan of the U.S., and her twin brother Oswald Morgan (‘Robin’) of Ontario, and her sisters, Professor Geraldene Hodelin of Jamaica, Eileen Morgan of the U.K., and Isolyn Morgan of Jamaica. Edda will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Bruno would like to thank Pastor Sheldon and the elders for the two anointings performed on Edda. He would also like to thank church members for providing food, for their phone calls, for their encouraging cards, and for all their prayers for Edda and himself. In addition, he thanks Dr. Khan, the paliative care doctor who visited Edda and himself and explained the course of Edda’s illness. Bruno also thanks Iran and Tanya, the para-med nurses who came almost every day during Edda’s illness to check vital signs and provide Edda and himself with advice. Finally, he thanks all the PSW’s who came to look after Edda. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visiting Tuesday December 12, 2023 from 11 am to 1:30 pm. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at the Funeral Home at 1:30 pm, with the Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Cemetery. In memory of Mrs. Morgan-Piva, memorial contributions may be made to JC’s Place Ministries, and would be appreciated. Online condolences at pattersonfuneralhome.com
