Mrs. Marva McElhone of LaSalette, passed away at the Caressant Care, Courtland, on Friday, December 1, 2023 in her 84th year. Marva had many hobbies which were reading, music and crafting which included: ceramics, painting and doll making. Member of Our Lady of LaSalette’s Catholic Women’s League. Former Marva Joan Saveall. Beloved wife of James McElhone. Loving mother of the Late James Hugh McElhone (2019) (Chris) and David McElhone (Mary). Cherished grandmother of Laura and Sarah. Dearest sister of Verna Saveall, Gail Venus (Carol) and Bonnie Saveall (Lynn). Also survived by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 (www.mfh.care) for visitation on Wednesday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and for Catholic Women’s League Prayers at 3:45 p.m. and Parish Prayers said at 5:45 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at 12:00 noon. Interment in Our Lady of LaSalette Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations to the LaSalette Area Rural Roots (Historic Church) will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
