FINN, Anne
On January 24, 2023, Anne Finn (Age 86) passed away peacefully at home in the comfort of her daughters following a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s Dementia. Anne was predeceased by her husband Kevin Finn and was the proud Mother of her 5 Children, Brian (Rhonda-late), Greg (Christine), Peg, Joe (late), and Clare (Ken). Her memory will live on through the legacy of love she left for her 9 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. Anne was proudly born in Harbour Grace, Newfoundland to the late Valentine and Rita Dunn (nee Coombs) and the beloved sister to Nell (Brendan-late), Margaret (James-late), Val-late (Maxine), Raymond (Linda), and Kathleen-late (Jeffrey).
A wife, a mother, a Nana too,
This is the legacy we have from you.
You taught us love and how to fight,
You gave us strength, you gave us might.
A stronger person would be hard to find,
And in your heart you were always kind.
You fought for us all in one way or another,
Not just as a friend, not just a mother.
For all of us you gave your best,
Now the time has come for you to rest.
So go in peace, you’ve earned your sleep,
Your love in our hearts, we’ll eternally keep.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and relatives and friends will be received in the McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home, 114 Main St E, Milton, on Saturday February 4, 2023. Visitation will begin at 11:00am followed by a service and reception beginning at 2:00pm.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the VON Perth-Huron would be appreciated and may be made by calling the Francis Funeral Home, Tavistock at 519-655-2431. Personal condolences can be posted at www.francisfh.ca
