It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Zelinsky (Kazmierczak) Wanda – Born on January 30, 1949, who passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home on November 26, 2023, at the age of 74.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Edward, son Robert (Edie) and granddaughters Jessica, Julia and Jamie, daughter Sylvie (Don) and grandsons Ryan (Danielle), Nathan and her great granddaughter Emerie as well as two stepchildren Corinne and Dwayne. Wanda also leaves two sisters and loving family in Poland.
A special thank you from the whole side of Wanda’s family to her loving husband Ed for his devotion, and loving care each day that Wanda was at the care home. Ed was very patient, attentive, and dedicated to all Wanda’s needs even when her health declined, and things became more difficult he never skipped a beat.
Wanda will be remembered for her great passion for homemade cooking which lead her to open her own restaurant “Wanda’s Secrets”. Once she retired and moved out to Lac du Bonnet, gardening became her favorite pass time while enjoying lake life and her two cats. In her earlier years, she really enjoyed picking wild blueberries and mushrooms, camping with her friends and sitting by the bon fires.
The family would also like to express their gratitude to all the staff at the Lac du Bonnet Personal Care Home for all their compassion and care.
Celebration of Wanda’s life will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
