Obituary
Raymond B. MacArthur, 80, of Birch Ridge, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Grace (Smith) MacArthur.
Raymond was a true country boy, who loved growing up in Kent County, he enjoyed the outdoors and tending to his garden. He was an avid sportsfan, with baseball being his favorite. He spent many years working as a welder with CN.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Sharon MacArthur; daughter, Joanne MacArthur (Tim); sons, Matthew and Tyler MacArthur; brothers, Ronald (Margaret) and Ralph; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Carol; and brother, Lorne.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (506-858-1995) on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to Celebrate and Honour Raymond’s life will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 11:00 am from Canaan Station Baptist Church (Rte 126).
