Obituary
“A son’s memory is reflected in the hearts he touched”
“The impression you left behind settles deep within the hearts of those who loved you”
It is with shattered hearts and sorrow we announce the unexpected passing of Kyle Wallace Allen, age 29, of Wallace Bridge. This beautiful angel gained his wings Monday, November 20, 2023. Kyle was born on June 15, 1994, in Truro, to Wallace “Wally” Allen and Bonnie (MacPherson) Allen. Kyle had a passion for lobster fishing alongside his parents on the Northumberland Strait. His love of fishing also led him to find many friends among different ports throughout the Maritimes. Regardless of how many hours Kyle put in on the water, if another fisherman needed help, he’d be there ready to lend a hand. Kyle needed to know the “how” and “where” his fellow fisherman we’re finding the lobsters, so he could report back to his father with what he had discovered and insist upon him trying it out. Kyle also enjoyed spending time with his friends of all ages. Whether he was running the roads with Dylan, visiting with Kaitlyn and Brad, or enjoying his long talks on the phone with Carl. He loved a good story, needing to know every detail. Besides his parents Kyle is survived by his sister Emily Allen (Akorede), Wallace Bridge; grandmother, Sheila (Mingo) MacPherson, Wallace Bridge; aunts, Cathy (Kenny), Donna (Ross), Carolyn (Phillip) and Heather; uncles, Art, Mike (Lorrie), Brad (Brenda) and David; his many cousins, Andrew, Elizabeth, Jessica, Brandon, Aaron, Olivia, Daniel, Mark, Chrissy, Billie, Riley, Taylor, Alexander, Brooklyn, Avery and Evan; his honorary uncle / friend, Stephen Russell, who spent many hours and miles in the oil truck with Kyle sharing an endless number of stories; his relatives, Adam, Jordan and Jarvis; as well as many friends who felt like family. Kyle was predeceased by his grandfathers, Garnet MacPherson, Andrew “Andy” Allen; grandmother, Diane (Shropshall) Lajoie and step grandfather, John Lajoie. There will be no public service. During this difficult time our family would like to say a special thank you for the outpouring of support from family, friends and the community. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the IWK Foundation, or any charity of one’s choice.
Kyle has walked the earth with his hidden wings, always helping others without hesitation. He has now gained his wings, and is flying above us, and hearing every detail to every story told.
