It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy Diane Lushman at the young age of 58, surrounded by her loved ones on November 22, 2023.
Left to mourn is her loving husband, Levi, and her two wonderful sons, Robbie and Joey. Her four grandchildren who she loved dearly, Patrick, Lily, Avah, and Emma. The mother of her grandchildren who was like a daughter, Lacey. Her brothers and sisters, Joyce, Calvin (Dallas), Linda (Murdock), Rick (Brenda), Sterling (Colleen), Norman (Michelle), Lisa, Kelly (Alvin), Shawn (Joyce), Rodney (Julie) and Brian. Her brothers and sisters-in-law, Barbara (Les), Phoebe (Melvin), Bessie (Ira), Jane (Ches), Ronald Jr (Millie), Derek (Sandra), and Calvin, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Lillian and Gabriel Peach. Her brothers Wayne and Everett, sisters Betty and Madonna. Her mother and father-in-law Margaret and Ronald Sr. Her brother-in-law Edward, and nieces Collette, Vanessa, Barbara, and Amanda.
Dorothy was born in Grand Bank, NL, but called Grey River, NL home for many years before residing in Corner Brook, NL.
She will be remembered for the love of her family and friends, her selflessness and her will to help anyone. For her love of knitting and baking with her grandkids. Also, for her love of Tim Hortons coffee.
At her request cremation as taken place. The funeral service will be held at 2pm, Monday, November 27, at the Church of a Transfiguration in Grey River, with Reverend Elsie officiating.
