Randy’s Obituary
LANDRY, Randolph Francis “Randy” – age 71, passed away on November 19, 2023 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Amirault’s Hill, he was a son of the late Homer and Rose (Doucet) Landry.
Randy married the love of his life in 1985, Priscilla. In 2010, they renewed their vows in Las Vegas, reaffirming their love for one another. Together they lived a life full of adventure, travelling 22 States and most of Canada, exploring some places like Alcatraz or the Maya Riviera. They had a lot of fun. Randy was a fisherman for 44 years, and then moved out west where he was a heavy equipment operator for 14 years. He was the most positive person, never negative, always finding a way to get things done. He had quite a sense of humor and loved to joke. Randy played hockey for Wedgeport. His nickname was “Killer”, because he gave and received many bruises and broken bones. He had an emotional support dog named Tanner, who he affectionately called his “Buddy”.
Randy is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Priscilla; son, Francis (Hailey) Landry; brother, Melvin (the late Muriel) Landry; sister Nancy Amirault; grandchildren, Layton, Elias and Adelaide.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home in Wedgeport.
