Obituary of John Feenstra
Passed away with family by his side at the Brockville General Hospital on Thursday November 9th, 2023. John Feenstra of Brockville and formerly of Cornwall and Oakville aged 83 years. Beloved husband of the late Henny (Bakker) Feenstra. Loving father of Miranda Feenstra and the late Jo-Ann Feenstra. Cherished grandfather of Tristan Feenstra. Also missed by his dear friend and partner Marilyn Calamusa. Dear brother of Eelke (Klaske), Johannes (Anneke, Roellof, Griet (Jappie), Sietske (the late Hotze), Corrie (Piet) and the late Wessel (Antje and Jan); and brother-in-law of Tine Bakker. Survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A time to celebrate John’s life will take place on a later date in Oakville, Ontario. Arrangements entrusted to the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl St. E., Brockville. Messages of condolence may be sent online at www.barclayfuneralhome.com .
