Lindy Marie Kontek-Thirsk of Camrose, Alberta, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the age of 28 years.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother Kelly Kontek (Kevin Mickey); sisters Candace Ames and Nikki Kontek-Thirsk; and grandmother Ellen Thirsk.
Lindy was predeceased by her father Darryl Thirsk; grandfather James Thirsk; maternal grandparents Rudy and Vera Kontek; and uncles Jim Thirsk, Wayne Thirsk, Leo Thirsk, and Gordon Jober.
A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from the St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, 3605 50 St Camrose, celebrated by Father Kris Schmidt.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Lindy’s memory may be made to T he Open Doors or to the Melville Cemetery.
