It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness we say goodbye to an amazing husband, loving father, and trusted brother and friend. Thomas Peter Purcell passed on Thursday November 8th, 2023 at Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook surrounded by his loving family at the age of 75 years.
He is leaving to mourn: his wife Sandra Purcell; sons: Shawn (Tammy) Purcell and Jay (Angel) Colombe; daughters: Sheri Lynn (Rodney) George and Roxanne (Carla) Letiec; brother John (Cathy) Purcell; sister Catherine Jacobs; brothers-in-law: Gerald (Sherry) Colombe, Bernard (Bernadette) Louvelle, and Dean (Ali) Louvelle; sisters-in-law Zeita Colombe, Muriel Davis, Alma (Melvin) Sheppard, and Patty (Kevin) Colombe; granddaughters: Grace Letiec, Kiana Purcell, Brianna Purcell, Shelby Bessey; grandsons: Kyle, George (chloe), Tristan George, Andrew George, Landon Purcell, and Hunter Kelly. Great granddaughters Scarlett and Kinsley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by: his parents Thomas and Mary Joseph Purcell, siblings Mary Whitten, Lucy (Douglas) Clarke, Niece Elizabeth Whitten, and nephew Fred Davis.
Visitation will be held at Russells Funeral Home, Stephenville on Saturday November 11th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated from St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville on Monday, November 13th at 2 PM.
