It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Nymeyer on Tuesday, November 7, 2023. He passed peacefully at Lisaard House in Cambridge.
Gary was an amazing husband to his wife Anita, a loving father to his children Aaron, Cameron, Laura (Scott), Jessica (Rick) and his stepchildren Chris (Danielle), David (Amy), Michelle (Jaydon) and beloved Opa to his grandchildren Mason, Norah, Oliver, Eli, Levi, Olivia, Eloise, Marie-José, Callum, Orson, and Rowan. Gary is also survived by his brother Berny, sister Margo and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Gary was predeceased by his parents Peter and Arlene Nymeyer and sister Jenny.
Gary was the proud owner of Better Windows and Doors in Cambridge for many years. Gary was also an avid golfer.
A Celebration of Life for Gary will be held at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge on Friday, November 10th, 2023 from 5 pm – 8 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gary may be made to the Lisaard House or to Medical Daycare Cancer Cambridge Memorial Hospital.
