It is with great sadness that we announce that our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Helen Marie Waters passed away on November 4th, 2023, at the age of 96. Loving wife of the late Doug Waters (2006). Mother of Bruce (Myrna), Betty, Harry (Cindy), June, and Sheila (Tony) Giacobetti. Grandmother of Ray, Mary, Lindsay (Jay), Kim (Frank), Erika (Lorne), Laura (Steve), Carly (Mike), Deanna (Shawn), Kristen (Steve), Mark (Kim), and Paul. Great-grandmother of 16, Luke, Ruby, John, Justin, Jason, Oskar, Eloise, Daphne, Harlow, Harry, Allyson, Norah, Aiden, Ashton, Mason, and Layla. Helen was from a family of 13 siblings, survived by Gladys, Ken (Georgina), Shirley, Betty (Dennis), Bob (Linda), and sister-in-law Irene Waters. Predeceased by two brothers and five sisters.
Helen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends cooking and baking. She loved sewing, knitting, playing cards, bowling, going to the casino, and doing scratch tickets.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at Morse & Son Funeral Home, 5917 Main St., Niagara Falls, on Thursday November 9th, 2023, between 1-3 pm and 6-9 pm. A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
