CARDAMONE, Saverio ‘Sam’ – Passed away peacefully at Chippawa Creek at Bella Care Residence with his family by his side, on Friday November 3rd, 2023, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of 51 years to Lena (nee Concolino). Cherished father of Anthony (Lynn) Cardamone, Angie (Paul) McKenna and the late Sammy Jr. Cardamone (2020) and loving grandfather of Vanessa, Justin and Jake.He will be fondly remembered by siblings Teresa (Tony) Mancuso, Vince (Gloria) Cardamone, Carmela (Domenic) Minervini, Toni (Ron) Nagy, Joe (Mary) Cardamone, Lina (Vince) Clarke, brother-in-law Tom (Tonina) Concolino as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents and in laws Antonio and Angelina Cardamone and Angelo and Maria Concolino.Sam immigrated to Canada in 1954 where he worked at Cataract Bowling, the El Rancho and Surfside Inn before settling in at Nabisco for a 38 year career. He loved spending time in his garden and enjoying a glass a wine. Thanks to the staff at Bella for welcoming Sam the short while he was there and providing him comfort in his final days. Friends are invited to join the family at the PATTERSON FUNERAL HOME, 6062 Main St. Niagara Falls, visitation Tuesday November 7, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service in celebration of his life will be held Wednesday November 8, 2023 at 11 am at the funeral home, with the Rite of Committal to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
