Write a Tribute
It is with immense sadness we announce that our beloved “Irishman” aka “Audrey’s Baby Boy”, Tim O’Connor, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2023, at Langley Hospice following a courageous battle with cancer.
Tim was proud of his Churchill, Manitoba roots. Tim was a volunteer firefighter and a very successful journeyman electrician who worked on many well known/major projects all over Western Canada and the Territories.
Tim was predeceased by his parents, Audrey and John (Jack) O’Connor and stepfather Ivan Cordingley, brother John Richard, brother-in-law Bradley and sisters-in-law Janice and Valerie.
Tim is survived by his wife, Sandra, daughter Roslyn (Andy), son Darian (Kathryn), brothers Darryle and Patrick, sister Earla (Danny), step-daughter Ava (Rob), father-in-law Bill, sister-in-law Jan (Ralf), six cherished grandchildren, three nephews and two nieces.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Cass and all of the nurses, staff and volunteers at the Langley Hospice for the immeasurable care and compassion shown to Tim and his family during our short time there. A special thank you also to all of our family, friends and WGLC family for your prayers, love and support, especially during these past few challenging months.
Family celebrations of Tim’s life will be held at later dates in BC and Manitoba.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Tim’s memory to the Langley Hospice Society or a charity of your choice.
– If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died –
