Peacefully at Headwaters Health Care Centre, Orangeville on Tuesday, October 31st, 2023 at the age of 87. Beloved husband of Dolores Cornelius (Snider). Dear father of Craig (Linda), Mike (Barb) and Karen. Cherished grandfather of Josh, Dan, Katie (Justin), Jenny (Joe) and Jake (Jessica). Loving great-grandfather of Aubrie, Charlie, Ryan, Lukas and Parker. Remembered by his brother Gordon. Predeceased by Leighton and Ronald. John will also be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Memorial visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre 21, First St. Orangeville on Saturday, November 4th, 2023 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Memorial donations in memory of John may be made to the Alzheimers Society – Dufferin.
A tree will be planted in memory of John in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. The 22nd Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
