It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Giselle Lamontagne (née Tougas) in Sudbury Thursday, October 19th, 2023, at the age of 81 years. Daughter of the late Rene Tougas and of the late Violette (née Benoit). Dear mother of Steve (Kim), Stella Lacasse (Steve) and Bobby (Anita). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Shanelle (Matthiew), Carina and Jamie. Survived by her brothers Fernand (Denise), Claude (Carmelle) and her sisters Huguette Tougas (Late Mario) and Prescille Tougas (Gaston). Giselle was the proud godchild of Lorraine Lebel (Francois) and a dear cousin of Carmen (Michel). Also survived by nieces and nephews, Stephane, Sylvain, Anne-Renée, Vincent, Claudia and Eric..
Giselle was known for her strong work ethic. She was a successful bookkeeper who worked hard to assist her friends and her clients. She was strong and loving until her passing.
