It is with heavy hearts, and lots of love, that the family of Barbara Bauer announce her sudden passing on September 8, 2023 at the age of 71 years. Barb is survived, and fondly remembered, by her stepchildren Tammie Gardner and Melvin Gardner, grandchildren Tyler, Triton and Haven, siblings Theresa (Bryan) Turner, Elizabeth Broddy, Shirley Dunkin, Mary Bauer, Bill (Cathy) Bauer, Irene (Larry) Mandrusiak, Alberta Bauer, Reg (Brenda) Bauer, Michael Bauer and Jerry Bauer, along with numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. Barb was predeceased by her loving husband of 35 years, Roy Gardner, who passed away in September of 2022. They are now reunited for eternity. She was also predeceased by her parents John and Rita Bauer and sister Marjory Bauer. Barb was an amazing, smart, loving woman who conquered many challenges with incredible resilience. She was happy, friendly and enjoyed being around children and animals, playing bingo, listening to country music, cooking, baking and the companionship of her family, friends and sweet dog Bella. At Barb’s request, there will not be a service. Cremation has taken place. A private gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made in Barb’s name to Zoe’s Animal Rescue Society.
