ARNOLD, Robert Scott “Bob” passed away at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday October 16, 2023. Son of Arthur Arnold and Dorothy Campbell of Montreal and the beloved husband for 67 years to Barbara (nee Logan). Bob will be remembered as a kind and loving father to William, Catherine, James (Christine Ford) and Carolyn Arnold. Robert was a devoted Grandfather of Brendan, Colin, Shaelyn, Liam, Kathleen O’Connor, Taylor Burns, Logan, Megan Arnold and Aaron Ford. Robert is predeceased by brother, William and survived by sisters-in-law Margaret Brass and Janet Riddell. Bob shared his love of Canada and military history with his children and grandchildren. Robert appreciated all types of music and decided to take up the trumpet at 80 to become an active member of the New Horizons Band for many years. As an entrepreneur, Bob operated a number of small businesses and 4 years after his retirement he remained active within the community driving for AON. Robert was an honourable and passionate man who lived life to the fullest. In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
