Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood, ON, on Saturday, October 14, 2023, in her 91st year.
Vera, beloved wife of the late Bill for 65 years. Loving mother of Tom (Debbie) of Collingwood, Larry (Lvonne) of Collingwood, Sally Owens of Collingwood, Ken (Angie) of Stayner and Doug (Maria) of Barrie. Devoted and cherished grandma of David (Rachel), Shaun (Tara), Tim (Christine), Lyle (Sarah), Lisa (Jamie), Sarah (Kevin), Jason (Kendra), Amy (Grant), Natasha (Mitch), Danielle, Shelby (Jackson), Mckenzie (Erin), Mitchell (Ishanie), Alysa (Brandon), Aphrodite (Javed) and great-grandma of Ava, Kaden, Jackson, Riley, Nelson, Zachary, Ben, Anna, Hudson, Griffin, Nathan, Zoe, Norah, Logan and Eddie. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, the extended Rolling, Groves and Burnside families and many friends.
Friends are invited to join the family at Chatterson Funeral Home, 404 Hurontatio Street, Collingwood, for visitation on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 7 – 9 pm. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Trinity United Church, 140 Maple Street, Collingwood, at 11a.m. A reception will follow the service. A private family interment of ashes will be held at Trinity United Cemetery at a later date.
