Peacefully at Sprucedale Care Centre on October 14, 2023 in her 96th year. Born in Asten the Netherlands. Beloved wife of Peter Bastiaansen (2001) and Ties Haasen (1973). Loving mother of John (Therese), the late Joe (2023) (Anita), Rita (Ken), Jerry (Nancy) and Matt (Denise). Stepmother of Pete (Wilma), late Bill (2023) (Tina), John (Rita), Jane (Adrian), Connie (late Ted (2012)), Cathy (Joe) and Mary Ann (Bert). She will be missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Sister of Jan Verberne (late Lies) and Lou (late Marie),late Fien (Pete) Sonnemans, late Sien (late Henk) Mikkers, late Hein (late Riek) Verberne, late Anne (Pete) Webster and late Toon (Marietje) Verberne. Sister-in-law of the late Chef (late Johanna) Haasen, late Toon (late Thea) Haasen, late Jan (Annie) Haasen, Miet Haasen and Anna Haasen. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will take place at DENNING’S OF STRATHROY on Thursday, October 19th, 2023 from 5:00-8:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at All Saints Roman Catholic Church on Friday, October 20th, 2023 at 11:30am. A private family burial to take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery in London.
