Erin passed away peacefully at Toronto General Hospital on October 12, 2023, at the age of 49. Erin will be forever missed by her parents, Pat and the late Ron Parnall, and her incredible CNIB Guide Dog, Poppy.
For 25 years as an IB (International Baccalaureate) teacher, principal, and teacher trainer, Erin touched the hearts and minds of hundreds of students and educators around the world. She had wonderful adventures in nine countries including Vietnam, Brunei, Laos, Turkey, and China (several postings). Erin faced everything life sent her with enthusiasm, humour, perseverance, and dignity. Her joy for living will be remembered by her Mom, by Poppy, and by her family, neighbours, and friends.
A private gathering to remember Erin will be held at a later date.
