Neil “Q” McHugh, peacefully passed away in hospital on October 12, 2023 in the arms of his loving daughter and has now been reunited with his beloved family, who he missed dearly. Neil Kevin McHugh, at the age of 65, is the cherished father of David McHugh and Taylor Mawson (Jarrett Richard). He will be sadly missed by his good friend Brenda Bujacz and by his many friends within the local sports community. Predeceased by his brother David McHugh, his parents Gerald and Myrna McHugh and by his grandparents Carmen and Vera Herbison.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023 from 11 am until 2 pm with a service in celebration of Neil’s life in the chapel at 2 pm. In honour of Neil and his love of sports, please wear your favourite sports jersey. Interment will take place at Union Cemetery, Lansdowne.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Wall Street United Church will be gratefully acknowledged.
