The family announces with great sorrow her sudden passing on October 10, 2023 in Niagara Falls at the age of 34. Loving mother of Alison Chookomoolin. Beloved daughter of Gladys Naveau and the late Abraham Chookomoolin. Dear sister of Robert (Monique), Pamela (Johnny), Kelly Ann, Kathy, Sandra, Amanda, Ramona, and Samantha. She will be greatly missed by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday October 15, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. at LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. A second visitation will take place on Monday October 16, 2023, beginning at 12 p.m. (noon) in the Mattagami First Nation Community Complex. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday October 17, 2023 at 11 a.m. in the Mattagami First Nation Community Complex, followed by the interment at the Mattagami First Nation Cemetery and a traditional feast.
