Passed away after a long illness with her family by her side at the Iler Lodge Nursing Home on October 11, 2023, at 78 years of age. Beloved daughter of the late Bert and Marjorie Bedford. Dear mother of Tammy Meloche (Ross) and Cindy Bennett (Art). Cherished grandmother of Daniel, Corey, Brooke, Kristen & family, Katie & family, Michelle, A.J., and Sarah. Dear Great grandmother of Audrina and Miranda. Dear sister of Dale Bedford (Barb). Loving cousin of Paul Knutson (Cheryl). Also survived by her loving and caring Aunt Dorothy Mumby. Dear Aunt of Debbie, Steve (Judy) and Julie (Keith); survived by many great-nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by many of her close friends.
Arlie was a dedicated member of the Church of the Redeemer for many years. She absolutely adored her role as a school bus driver, a job she held onto with unwavering passion for a remarkable 18 years. Arlie’s memory will forever be cherished and never forgotten by all who knew and loved her.
Special thanks to the staff of Iler Lodge especially Kal for all your loving care you gave to my Mom. Arlie is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North, Es on Friday, October 13 from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. A prayer service will take place at 8 p.m. Cremation to follow. Arlie will be laid to rest with her mother at St. Stephens Cemetery in Oldcastle at a later date. Donations may be made to the Windsor Cancer Foundation.
