It is with great sadness, the family of the late Monica Ellen O’Keefe (nee Roche), age 84, announces her passing on October 11, 2023 where she died peacefully at her home, at Great Barasway. She was born in Branch, SMB January 11, 1939. Predeceased by her husband Edmund, her parents James and Mabel Roche of Branch, SMB.
Mona leaves to mourn her seven sons, wives and families, Edmund, (Marg), Leonard (Melvina), Peter (Anita), Kevin (Cynthia), William (Melissa), Ross (Christine), Desmond (Rena). Also leaving to mourn are her sixteen grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and her sisters Clara (Rick) and Roselle.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Coombs Funeral Home in Placentia. Visitation will be held on Thursday at 4 – 9 pm and Friday 2 – 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held in Branch Saturday 10 am. Burial to follow at Great Barasway Cemetery.
