Obituary
The Hodnefield Family wish to share that on October 5, 2023, our Lord welcomed Jon home. His final breaths were taken peacefully with his daughter Twylla by his side reciting prayers, and his favorite Psalm (121).
He is survived by his wife and best friend Arlene; son Warren (Kara nee Turner); daughters Twylla (Ron Downey) and Janel; and his grandchildren Jenna (Brodie Case), Anton, Jaelyn, Matthew Jon, and Luke.
Jon loved his farm in the George Community. He never forgot the kindness and generosity shown by our neighbours who banded together to bring in the harvest following a traumatic accident. Jon was an avid curler, and loved to entertain with his guitar. Zion Lutheran Church Bashaw was his second home, and the congregation was his extended family.
We are so very thankful to the wonderful staff at Northcott Care Centre and to Dr. Rob Halse.
A Funeral Service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Bashaw on Friday, October 13 , 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
