Terrence “Terry” Eric Anderson passed away peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Monday, October 2nd, 2023. Age 78 years.
Son of the late Frank & Eunice (nee Jackson) Anderson. Beloved friend and partner of Betty Morden for 37 years. Cherished brother of Nancy Ruth Krindle (the late Monty), Kathryn Anderson (Peter Noyes), and the late Louise Reid (husband Allen). Terry will be forever missed by his nieces: Wendy (Rob), Anne, and Tracey, and by his nephews: Eric, David (Toni), Jon (Angela), and the late Bryan. Fondly remembered by his great nieces and nephews, other family, friends and neighbours.
Terry was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, gardening and spending time with his dogs on long walks to the lake for swimming and exercise. He loved his hometown of Parry Sound and spent as much time on the Georgian Bay as he could. Terry worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital for 25 years, many as the Laboratory Manager and retired from the West Parry Sound Health Centre as Laboratory Manager in 2000.
As was Terry’s wish, cremation has taken place. A private service will be held at a later date.
