On Monday September 18, Garth Eugene Carter passed away peacefully at his home in Lowville surrounded by his loving family. Garth was 93 years old. Garth was a loving husband, dad and papa. Garth is survived and deeply missed by his loving wife Dorothy of 68 years.
Predeceased by his father & mother, Walter & Maude. Loving dad to Byron, Janice (Evan) & Michael and his partner Marjorie. Michael is predeceased by his late wife Maureen. Loving brother-in-law to Marjorie (Paul), Murray, Jim (Helen). Loving papa to Tasha and her partner Michael, Brittany (Dan), Bryer and his partner Vi, Lindsay (Douglas) & Mathew and his partner Jessica. Best friend to Spike and Moma.
For those that knew Garth from being in the automotive industry they would know how deep his love for old cars and trucks was, as well as John Deere tractors. He surely got that from his own father, Walter. A family first kind of man, he always made sure to take care of his own.
