It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Bernice Ann Taylor (Winsor) on Thursday September 21st, 2023 at the age of 72. She passed away peacefully in the hospital in High River with her loving husband of 29 years, Glenn Taylor, by her side.
She was predeceased by her father Sidney Winsor, and brothers Gene Winsor and David Winsor
She is survived by her mother Jean Winsor, loving sister Angela Moore (Jim) and brother Gerald (Benita), as well as her beloved children: Sherrie Button, Christopher Button (Stephanie) and Stephen Button (Berliza), as well as her grandchildren: Nicole, Jennifer, Brayden, Andrew, Jackson, Emerson, Darion, Drake and Danica. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, and many other relatives. While Bernice had many accomplishments in her life, she was most proud of her large and loving family.
She will be lovingly remembered by many friends across the country. Although she was born in Newfoundland, she also lived in Ontario and Nova Scotia until she married the love of her life on September 3rd, 1994, and settled down for good in Alberta.
Bernice loved to laugh and was very outgoing. She really enjoyed going out with her church friends. She loved reading, doing ceramics, crafting, putting together puzzles and working in puzzle books. She and Glenn loved going on trips together and exploring the country.
In keeping with Bernice’s wishes, she will be cremated, and a service/celebration of life will be held at a later date.
