Obituary
It is with a heavy heart that our family announces the sudden passing of Wayne Thomas Piche. Wayne peacefully passed away at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington on Monday, September 25, 2023 at the age of 71. Predeceased by his parents, Harvey and Catherine. Beloved husband of Judy (nee Ardies) for over 31 years. Loving father of Megan and Daniel. Dear brother of Allen (Judy) and their children Christopher (Andrea) and David (Tom), and Lorne (Kim) and their children Kristin and Shane. Will also be missed by his father-in-law Frederick Ardies, mother-in-law Ethel Gagnon, and the rest of Judy’s extended family: Joyce, Jimmy, Joan (Bernie), Jerry, and Jenniffer. While Wayne left us far too soon, the impact he had on our community will be felt for years to come. He will truly be missed by all his family and friends.
Private cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Waterdown Legion Branch 551 at a later date.
The family requests that donations be made to the Waterdown Legion Branch 551, of which Wayne was an active member. Please sign the Tribute Wall.
