It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Zackery Garry Wayne Turner, late of Prince Albert, SK formerly of Sturgeon Lake, SK on September 22nd, 2023, at the age of 28 years. Zackery was born on September 11th, 1995, in Prince Albert, SK to Garry Wichin and Geraldine Turner. Zackery will be lovingly remembered by his son Bennett Harold Carter Paul Turner; his parents Garry Wichin & Geraldine Turner; his sisters: Candice Turner, & Patricia Daniels; his nephews Draden Turner & Colby Daniels; his niece Christina Daniels; his grandparents & caregivers Harold & Cecile Isaac; his special friends Riley, Randy & Janice Mathieu; as well as numerous family and friends. Zackery was predeceased by his grandparents Baptist (Harriette) Turner, & Isadore (Edna) Wichin; as well as numerous family and friends. A Wake Service will be held on Thursday, September 28th, 2023, at 5 PM at the Sturgeon Lake School Gym in Sturgeon Lake, SK. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 30th, 2023, at 11 AM at the Sturgeon Lake School Gym in Sturgeon Lake, SK. The Officiants will be Community Elders Leonard Ermine & Sam Isaac. The Honourary Pallbearers are all those who knew and loved Zackery. The Pallbearers are Riley Mathieu, Mitch Carriere, Brad Graham, Kenneth Pauls, Dakota Cook, Harley Sanderson, Issac Davidson, & Seth Mirasty. The Interment will take place at the East End Cemetery in Sturgeon Lake, SK. Condolences can be sent to the family on our website at www.mackenziechapel.ca.
