Obituary of Ilda Morandini
The family of Ilda Morandini (Agazzi) regretfully announces her passing at the age of 98. Mom passed away at the EK Regional Hospital on Tuesday, September 19,2023. Mom volunteered with the Hospital Auxiliary and also with the Seniors Lodge. She enjoyed curling, bowling and camping. Mom loved to spend time with her family and many friends. Mom spent many hours each day reading and solving crossword puzzles. She was friendly, kind and always had something humorous to say. Even at her final hours she said, “The old grey mare just ain’t what she used to be”. Mom leaves great memories with her daughter, Linda(Mernie)Plested, son, Rae(Colleen)Morandini and daughter Karen Grundy. Mom had six grandsons, Darren(Amy), Chris(Sandra), Lee(Eric) Plested, Luke(Jaclyn), Jason(Savannah), Tyler Grundy. She also had five grandchildren, Mason, Dylan, Moorea, Rylee and Dawson. Ilda was predeceased by her husband, Remo. By request, Mom did not want a service. A Celebration Of Life with her family will be held at a later date.
