The love for a beautiful man.
With heavy hearts the family of Emilio (Mel) Andreola, of Thessalon ON announces his death on Friday September 22, 2023, at the age of 70.
Emilio, known by many friends and family as Mel, was a sharp dressed man and getting better looking everyday. Mel always enjoyed life to the fullest, whether it be travelling around the world or relaxing at home. He was a proud member of the Carpenters Union local 2486. Mel loved to fish and as soon as the shad flies were out, so was, he. Always holding family close to his heart, he was a cherished father, proud grandfather and beloved uncle of many special nieces and special nephews.
Emilio is survived by his loving partner of 17 years Christa Taraniuk, his son Micheal (Nicole) and Christa’s children; Tania Caputo (Eugene) and Terry Taraniuk with whom he shared a special bond. Grandfather of Keenan Andreola, Stella Andreola, brother of Elsa McMillan (Stewart), Louie Andreola (Rosanne) and brother-in-law to Shirley Andreola.
Predeceased by his parents Louise and Luigi Andreola, brothers Orpheo, Enso (Betty), Bruno and Mario.
He will be missed by Nathon, Alana, Jared and his faithful dog Timber.
Forever friend of Andy Alexander and Bubba.

Emilio was one of a kind and will be missed dearly by all. He was the life of the party and loved to dance, to honour him we will be holding a celebration of life please join us October 3, 2023, from 4:00pm – 9:00pm at the Union Hall (Shooters, 68 Dennis St., Sault Ste. Marie) to celebrate the life of Emilio Andreola.
