MATTHEWS (nee Everingham) – Patricia Orpha Matthews passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Thursday, September 21, 2023 in her 77th year. Beloved mother of David Matthews (Heather), Denise MacDonald (James) and Darlene Heisey (Duane). Devoted grandmother to Colleen (Spencer), Jennifer (Anthony), Jason, Rachel, Blake, Amanda (Erik), Adam and Andrew (Holly) and great grandmother to Jonathon. Her family was her pride and joy. Survived by her loving brother Albert Everingham and many nieces, nephews and friends that knew her as Aunt Pat. She had many life-long friends and cherished these friendships dearly. Predeceased by her parents Grant and Eunice, sisters Betty, Sandra and Lillian and brothers Bob and David. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church 165 Sydney Place, Welland. Online condolences available at www.cudneyfuneralhome.com.
