Agnes Rebecca Ernest of Walkerton passed away at home on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, in her 92nd year. Beloved mother of Donna, Bill, both of Walkerton, Carl (Bev) of Hanover, Elizabeth (Ed) Plant of Hanover, Darlene (Robert) Ernest-Schlosser of Chepstow, Heather (Len McGraw) Milner of Hanover, Amber (Bradley McIntyre) Gutscher of Walkerton, and daughter-in-law Marg (Ken) Holmes of Durham. Agnes was a grandmother of 23, great-grandmother of 43, and great-great-grandmother of 3. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Agnes is predeceased by her husband Fred Ernest, sons Larry, Joe, Bob, siblings Ernie and Ethel Mableson, and her parents Harold and Annie Mableson.
Friends and relatives are invited for visitation from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 25, 2023, at Cameron’s in Walkerton.
Interment in Douglas Hill Cemetery, Cargill.
